About the event

The Pavilions at Glenstone are closing for the year, and that means we have to boogie to get into see Room 9 where the work of Barbara Kruger’s “NEVER PERFECT ENOUGH” is installed.   We visited Glenstone over the holidays and found ourselves in a facinating and rowdy discussion of this installation.  When that happens to us, we just KNOW we have to create an opportunity to extend that to our community.  Grab a friend or come by yourself to meet new friends.  We will meet at the entrance and walk together to Room 9 and spend time with "NEVER PERFECT ENOUGH".  We will then move to Three Sisters Studio across the street from Glenstone to dig into Krugers work.   With a few prompts to start a lively discussion, we’ll talk about what in the Kruger exhibit resonated with you. What has influenced your story of you in a world where we often might feel never “enough”?  What happens when we see our lives through the lens of Kruger’s art? When we break things down, or add things up? Bring a notebook and an open mind and we will take care of the details.

*There will be a bit of a walk uphill to get to the pavillions from the parking lot.  Wear comfortable shoes.
